Traveler camps out on 42 Scottish islands to capture unique images of wildlife and scenery

The author and photographer have taken incredible images of Scottish islands over the past 18 months.

Alastair Jackson recorded his adventures when he traveled to 42 remote locations, SWNS reported.

Jackson’s photos were inspired by the weather, light, clouds and landscapes of Scotland along the West Coast.

With just cameras, tents and walking boots, Jackson camped at least one night in each of the 42 remote locations.

“My mom said she didn’t want to travel. On other islands, And when you grow up in one place, you really don’t travel,” Jackson told SWNS.

“So I wanted to go and explore.”

Travelers said he discovered that when he went to Bara Island and elsewhere from Giga Island, he discovered that each location was a “charming adventure.”

Jackson has always considered himself a “young of the heart” and has been an avid photographer for over 15 years, reported SWNS.

He told SWNS “After growing up on Skye, he was inspired by the island and their culture.”

Along his journey, Jackson’s goals include a range of styles, scenery, and People’s lifestyle I live in each destination.

“On this trip, I wanted to emphasize “island life.” People are doing different things, doing what’s going on on the island,” Jackson said.

Some of Jackson’s favorite places were his time on Rose Island and Egg Island. Scottish inner hebridgehe said.

“I woke up early in the morning, got sunrise and then got the evening sun. And I was lucky with the weather I had. Surprisingly, it only rained for a day or two.”

Jackson said he was surprised too. By wildlife He watched from corn creek birds to shark baths in front and behind the camera.

“I spent a week at Mal just for camping and even met a guy who took a photo of the otters who live there,” he added.

“I met incredible people on my trip.”
