Following the update, Spotify is now able to view information about users with US price details for subscriptions and promotional offers that can save users money.
“Currently, it allows consumers to have lower prices, more control and access to the Spotify experience. There is more work, but today it represents an important milestone for developers and entrepreneurs who want to build and compete on a more equal arena,” the company said.
