The mother of a Maryland woman who was raped and murdered in 2023 by illegal immigrants from El Salvador appeared in the White House Wednesday after a ju-degree convicted her daughter’s murderer on Monday.
Patty Morin’s appearance came as Maryland Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen visited El Salvador on Wednesday to confirm that Maryland resident Justice Department confirmed he had been deported to El Salvador. The Trump administration claims Maryland resident Abrego Garcia has ties to the MS-13 gang.
“The Maryland Senator will also be acknowledging and barely admitting the brutal death she endured, leaving five children without a mother. Morin told reporters at the White House Wednesday. “Why does he have more rights than me, does he have daughters and grandchildren? I don’t, I don’t understand this.”
Van Hollen’s press conference did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
