
After being fired Stanford University Over allegations of bullying and disrespect, Troy Taylor said he was portrayed “unfairly” and fired “for no reason.”
Taylor was First investigated over a year agohe signed the warning letter on February 14th and the second investigation, which ended on July 24th.
However, in a statement released Wednesday, Taylor said he has since confiscated a raise “for the sake of the team” without being the subject of other complaints.

“For 30 years I was a coach and educator at the high school and college level, and I had great team success in every program I coached without one issue or complaints about how I treated others.
Taylor said both investigations were “inappropriately disclosed” to the media. Taylor said the original investigation was about “a complaint from athletic manager who claimed he tried to take her away as a football manager on unfair reasons.”
Taylor “opposed the complaint” but said he “taked it seriously and cooperated completely.” The investigation said he “concluded that I did not act unfairly,” and was given an extension “as he was told I was making something special” and rose at the end of the following February.

“Later, in March 2024, a second complaint was placed by a member of the Compliance Office regarding the discussion of the physical speed at which Stanford players can take part in the walkthrough, which was resolved in July 2024.
Taylor said he confiscated his salary increase after the investigation. However, the university’s general manager Andrew Lack He fired Taylor later last month, and Taylor said, “no reason.”
“My recent portrayal of the media is unfair and incorrect, against my professional track record and the person I have always been,” Taylor said. “The truth is that Stanford fired me for no reason and as a result, he respects the original payment terms of my contract.
“I strongly believe in the players, coaches and staff who are currently at Stanford to lead with sincerity and elsewhere, and to build a winning team and culture that is inclusive and respectful to everyone. Stanford is now disappointed that I am no longer the right person to lead a football team.

Stanford declined to comment on Fox News Digital in response to Taylor’s statement.

Taylor went 3-9 in both seasons as Stanford’s head coach. Frank Reich was recently hired as interim coach.
