Carrie Underwood I never avoided leaning against her faith.
During Monday’s episode “American Idol” The “Jesus Take the Wheel” diva shared heartfelt testimony after contestants Riley and Brenna headed straight to their heads during the performance of Brandon Lake’s “Thanks” (a song dedicated to worshiping God).
“I know how difficult it is to come into the entertainment industry and bring you and your faith,” Underwood said emotionally. “That’s Something brave Doing so is because there is a lot of external forces that will tell you not to do so. ”

Country stars are not people who don’t know what to face public opinion.
Earlier this year, the “All American Girl” singer caught a fever from fans by agreeing to sing President Donald Trump takes office.
“I love our country and am honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood, joined by the Army Choir and the US Naval Academy Glee Club, said in a statement. “I am humbled to answer the phone when we all have to look to the spirit of unity and the future.”

As one of the most popular singers in country music, the eight-time Grammy Award winner knows she can’t please everyone.
