Zack Brown We know the many sacrifices made by service members and their families. That’s why he meets veterans before the show and honors them on stage.
“They’re such incredible people,” Brown told Fox News Digital. “Their stories are so exciting, they bring them on stage and share moments of gratitude with them with the whole crowd, reminding everyone in the crowd that they are cheering on and that all of their sacrifices are highly valued.
On Memorial Day, Brown will be recognized at the Easy Day Foundation’s American Music Awards, which was awarded her first Veteran Audio Award for “Unshakable Support for the Veteran Community.”
“This award means a lot to me because of the recognition that it is created for the Veterans program,” Brown explained to Fox News Digital. “The more people realize how appropriate these incredible people are, the more help we can bring to them.

“They are such wonderful, dynamic people who make so many sacrifices from their families, the quality of family life when they return home, their mental health, everything that allows us to be free and be here.”

“We’re doing a 34-week veteran program,” he told Fox News Digital. “We serve Bernie Marcus’s Program Warrior Pass at camp. We were one of the first campuses chosen to serve their program. They help with the transition with services and serve people who have PTSD and other challenges they find when they return home.
The camp said, “We help them tell their stories. They may not be comfortable telling the civilians. But they can talk about their stories with amazingly talented songwriters so they can sing their stories, play them with someone, share that part, and draw it out of the shadows.

Camp Southern Round also hosts family camps. Brown says it will help service members “see family as a unit when they return.”
“It helps them get the tools. It helps them stay with other veterans and their families, and they spend their time learning how to see their own family as a unit and having the tools to integrate them so that they can have successful marriages and successful parent-child relationships so that they can go well themselves,” he explained.
“I’m really proud of everything we do there.”

The Veterans Voice Award was created to highlight artists like Brown who use the platform to support veterans.
The “Chicken Fried” singer says it’s difficult to choose a personal story that a service member told him, as he has heard so many amazing anecdotes.
“My friend Ollie spoke about how he thinks about things and how he doesn’t want his demons to be behind him. “Conquering these things is a daily choice.”
Other veterans also told him how much his music meant to them while they served.
“Our active duty and veterans can provide our safety and live our American dreams so that we can do that.”
“I played for USO and spent several times playing in Iraq. and Afghanistan And we’ll be out to Kuwait and some of the Ford operating bases where they haven’t seen anyone who really reminds us of the house for a long time,” he said.
“Some of them just lost one of their members to (improvised explosive devices) and when we got there they had his name drawn on the tank.”
The band was to film the music video for the song “Free” at the base.

“As soon as we started playing the guitars, the speakers, and the music was playing, it was a light in their eyes, reminding us of what they were fighting for and what they were doing,” he explains. “What we ask them. We spend 10 days there and they have made years of sacrifices to our country so that we can be free here and enjoy our lives. Remembering those stories and being around incredible people, it’s important to give thanks and gratitude to those who protect me.”
It is especially important that Brown is respected on Memorial Day.

“It’s important for Americans to pause on anniversary as many people have fought for our freedom, died and suffered. I’m grateful that the American Music Awards and Easy Day Foundation insist on recognizing this at Monday’s event,” he said.
“People can complain about America, they can complain about anything, but they didn’t go to other countries and live there,” he added. “Most of them don’t go see what it is in some other parts of the world. In America, whatever you try to do is have a challenge, but here you can do things you can’t do anywhere else.”
He says that in order for veterans to provide security so that they can live their American dreams, Americans can “live no matter what your history is, what your history is, so that your history creates an incredible life, no matter what background you are.”

“Make music for a living is one of the greatest things in my life,” he said. “It’s a very privileged to do what I want to do, and if there’s no freedom we have and it’s by veterans and people in service, I can’t do it.”

“My companion Joe Hartbank, where I lived, goes to Joe Maynard, an incredible man. He had to do a lot of things that he suffered from from time to time, but he sees him finding purpose, being friends for him, making knives, finding new purpose in things,” he explained.
“He’s doing all sorts of things now, and he’s such an incredible guy.”

Heartbank gave Brown the medal he won to save the ambushed forces, as Brown’s music, in particular the song “Natural Disasters” was intended for him.
“It’s a privilege to know these people,” Brown said. “I invite veterans and people with hearts to help children learn more about veterans and hearts. Camp Southang Round. If you have no high purpose other than yourself in your life where you are contributing, you need to find something like this. And if you want to join forces with us, we want you to welcome you. ”
“It’s a very privilege to do what I want to do. Without the freedom we have here, we can’t do that. It’s all about veterans and people in service.”
“It’s more than camping,” he said. “It’s college-level quality, builds and everything like that. We have an incredible staff. We learn how to get better every year.
