Women’s Lacrosse icon Charlotte North had a very specific routine in her career.
On the way to become NCAA history The leading goalscorer and led Boston College to the 2021 national championships, North has built a playlist that has become a serious superstition.

“I’m very superstitious,” North said in an interview.”A resilient life“A podcast with Ryan Mannion.
“I have to listen to a specific playlist to actually prepare for the game. There are many other superstitions I have.”
And from that playlist, North even has a hype song she prepared to perform, especially when she performed from Boston University in 2021-22, after she transferred from Duke.
The song is Dropkick Murphys’ famous “I’m Shipped to Boston.”

“It was our song that always ended in the locker room before we went out to games at Boston College.
“Whether it’s a national championship or just another rival game for the season, get ready for some big games.”
North also played on the US women’s national lacrosse team that won gold medals at the World Lacrosse Championships in July 2022.

In 2024, she played for Team 1, her first USA Women’s National Box Lacrosse team. The US team won the gold medal at the World Lacrosse Women’s Box Championship in September 2024, beating Canada 10-7.
She led the US team with goals (25) and finished third in points (31) during the tournament.
