The lawsuit filed by a Utah woman accused BYU football player Jake Letzraff of committing sexual assault at her home in November 2023. The Salt Lake Tribune reported.
The woman listed in the filing as Jane Doe AG says she reported her claim to police.
The accuser said she and Retzlaff were first contacted via social media.

Retzlaff is being sued for suspected battery, assault and intentional violations of emotional distress. According to the lawsuit, the woman is seeking punitive damages from BYU quarterback.

As of Wednesday, Retzlaff was not facing criminal charges. Retzlaff’s lawyer Mark Baute has issued a statement stating that the BYU quarterback is “virtually innocent.”
