
“American Pie” star Shannon Elizabeth She lived in Hollywood for a trip to South Africa to support a cause that was close to her heart.
Elizabeth spoke at Steel Citycon in Pittsburgh last Saturday, revealing that she moved to the country eight years ago to focus on her conservation charity, the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation. People Magazine.
“We’re building sanctuaries,” she told the audience. “We have a blind black rhino that we’ve been caring for. We’ll bring in more rhinos as soon as we can expand.”

The 51-year-old said after her breakout role. “American Pie” She said, “I started my charity, which was then known as the Animal Avengers. Since then, it has been transformed over the years into conservation and wildlife from dogs and cats.”
“I started watching dog and cat rescue in Los Angeles. e! news. “I wanted to create my own organization, and over time I wanted to help more animals on a larger scale. I went on a journey to understand what it was and realized that this busy poaching crisis was taking place in other parts of the world.”
According to the foundation’s website, Elizabeth originally founded an organization called Animal Avengers in 2001, expanding the scope of African dogs and cats to wildlife.

“To put her project into practice and expand her scope and influence, Shannon moved to Africa in 2016 and currently lives in Cape Town.” The website states.
The Texas-born star also continues his acting career. “Scary movie” “Jay and Silent Bob fight back,” and more recently the comedy “Plan B” and the holiday movie “Holiday’s House.”

She also pre-produces a documentary entitled “Munu a Sy Love Story,” a male black rhino that needs special care, entitled “Munu a Sy Love Story.”
