Trump’s special envoy to Steve Witkov, the Middle Eastern, who was the top negotiator of Russia and the US amid the war with Ukraine, could be tapped for the opening National Security Advisor position.
Witkov is Trump’s longtime ally whose focus is on negotiating with Russia for a peace deal in Ukraine and negotiating with Iran on its nuclear program. Witkov was especially praised for helping to secure the reality of American school teacher Mark Vogel from Russian prisons in February.
Witkoff traveled to Moscow on April 25th. The White House reportedly expanded its final offer to Russia as it continues its war with Ukraine, which has been raging since February 2022.
“Ambassador Witkov is in Russia to meet with President Putin as a member of the president. Trump’s efforts to create peace.” An official with knowledge of consultation and visits told Fox News Digital at the end of April.

Trump could play a national security role under former Trump administration Richard Grenell, a former former German ambassador and former Director of the National Intelligence Bureau.
The former ambassador is currently chairman of the Kennedy Center, the National Cultural Center in the United States under the second Trump administration.
Grenell’s name floats for other well-known roles under the second Trump administration, including a potential replacement for the United Nations US ambassador, after Republican New York State Rep. Elise Stefanik retracted her name in March to hold a seat at home. But Grenell said it was “hard no” that he served. United Nations Ambassador role.

Trump previously nominated Stefanik as the UN ambassador, but announced on March 27 that he had retracted his appointment to “stay in Congress to deliver peace through historic tax cuts, great work, economic growth, safe borders, energy control and strength.”
Stefanik Undercuts Speaker Johnson is a stunning public house GOP spat
“We don’t want to take the chance to anyone else standing in Elise’s seat because the majority is so strict,” he added. “People love Elise and with her we have nothing to worry about coming to Election Day. There are others who can do a good job at the UN.”
Stefanik is on the side of the fierce Trump. In December 2023, we burned out university administrators from our alma mater Penn and Harvard’s Ivy League in particular about whether “seeking a genocide of Jews” would violate the respective school’s code of conduct.
