
The White House denounced Democrats for playing “partisan games” and asking for an investigation into alleged insider trading after the president Donald Trump Customized mutual tariffs have been suspended for 90 days on Wednesday.

“This series of events raises serious legal and ethical concerns. The president, his family and his advisors are making their own efforts to use private information privately to inform investment decisions,” the senator wrote.

Before suspending mutual tariffs, Trump said, “It’s cool! Everything will be fine. America will be bigger than ever!” and “This is the best time to buy!!! DJT.” The president had previously said he would not suspend tariffs, but was open to negotiating with other countries.
Trump has suspended only higher customized tariffs than countries around the world have historically set up trade barriers on US goods, as the Trump administration and world leaders dislike negotiating mutual tariffs.

However, China was not part of the tariff suspension and instead suffered a higher 125% tariff after retaliating with its own additional fee on the US
