Vice President JD Vance He told alumni of the U.S. Naval Academy on Friday that enemies such as China and Russia are “determined to beat us in all spheres.”
Speak in Annapolis, Vance said the Trump administration has a “overturned course” in US foreign policy because “there is no more undefined mission” and “there is no more conflict of freedom violations.”
“We’re looking at realism and strategies to protect our core national interests. Now, this doesn’t mean ignoring the threat. But that means we’re approaching them with discipline and when we send you to war, we’ll do it with a very specific goal in mind,” Vance said.
“In the wake of the Cold War, America enjoyed almost challenging orders from the Commons, including airspace, sea, space, and cyberspace. But the era of US domination is over. Today, we have decided to beat us in every domain, in China, Russia and other countries,” he added.

“You will be the men and women leaders of our army,” Vance said. “So, while President Trump and I congratulate us on this incredible accomplishment, I thought it would be appropriate to talk a little about how we think of your mission in this new, very dangerous time for the President and our country.”
The Vice President said that past US administrations have “run our long experiments.” Foreign policy It is the maintenance of our alliances and national defense for state construction and interference at the heart of foreign nations, even if those foreign countries have little to do with America’s central interests.”
“Following the collapse of the Soviet Union… for a short time, we were a fearless superpower, and we didn’t believe that foreign countries could rise to compete with the United States,” he continued.

“And our leaders traded soft power for hard power. We stopped making things, from cars to computers to war weapons, like ships that protect our water and future weapons. Why we believed too much that economic integration would naturally lead to peace by naturally creating countries like Lipolik of the people. “Over time, it was said that the world would converge towards a uniform set of bland secular universal ideals, regardless of culture or country. And those who don’t want to converge, our policymakers will aim to enforce them by necessary means.”
“So instead of dedicating our energy to rising like China, our leaders pursued what they thought was an easy task for the world’s outstanding superpowers. How difficult is it to build a new democracy in the Middle East?
Vance said, “We need to not only be smart, we have to be all of us,” but now we’re “We’re starting to see that. [when] We send our troops to war and do it with the right tools. ”
