Valerie Bertinelli When she celebrates her 65th birthday, she embraces everything about herself.
“One Day at a Time” star posted on Wednesday Video Montage “I’ve experienced it all in my last few years, and as much as all UPS I’m blessed with experiencing, I’m grateful for the down. The light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. I feel it. I feel it.”
She continued, “I love my family. I love my friends. I support me there and I love being part of our community here. I am a good-lucky and grateful Mofo.”
Among the images shared by Bertinelli was a throwback to a photo of her lingerie taken in the bathroom last year.

“At one point, I’ll talk about the madness my body has experienced this year.” She wrote at the time.
“But now, the wrinkled and droopy parts of all the lumps have been a simple appreciation for accepting that I am standing in front of a mirror in a hotel bathroom in downtown Manhattan, ready to color my roots late on a Monday night.”
Part of that journey included abstaining from alcohol and focusing on the future.
Bertinelli also shared another acceptance element that appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Thursday.

In a segment celebrating the audience’s makeover, relationship expert Damona Hoffman offered advice, “If someone thinks you’re too many, they’re not enough and that’s not your problem.”
Bertinelli asked the panel and the crowd, “How many people were told they were too many?”
She, Barrymore and others in the studio all raised their hands.
The 65-year-old split from her boyfriend, Mike Goodnowafter dating for 10 months last fall. She first published her relationship in March 2024, but ended things in November.

Goodnough recently spoke on social media and accused former food network stars of taking it “Backhand swipe” In an Instagram post, when he spoke about speculation that the two were engaged in a subtle online feud.
He responded to many “messages and replies” he received, implying that the duo “appears to communicate with each other via our Instagram posts and stories.”
“Not,” he wrote in a deleted Instagram post since. “I’ve never posted anything on social media at any time with the aim of indirectly communicating with someone when I know personally and have a good way to get there directly.”
He wrote, “I love her and I will always do that,” claiming that despite their split, he was caring for Bertinelli.
In an Instagram post in February, Bertinelli looked back at what made the relationship work, writing that she “fumbled the last true good guy I met.”

Bertinelli has thrilled praise for Goodnough in her first post since she shared last month. According to People Magazine, The Delaware native wrote that he “feels very lucky to know him,” and that she “had been irreversibly changed by him.”
Bertinelli was before Married to Tom Vitale From 2011 to 2022, the actress described their divorce as “evil.”
Before marrying Vitale, Bertinelli was married to musician Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007.
