A unique Airbnb in the UK offering the chance to spend the night in a barn with miniature horses is available for around $230 a night and up, SWNS reports.

This rustic property shares a wall with stables, so the owners decided it would be interesting to build a door so visitors could see the neighbor’s horse, Basil.

This holiday spot, set in the grounds of a 17th-century mansion, is available from £360, or about $470, with a minimum two-night stay.

“At first, we only had the idea of renting out a separate building because of the sudden increase in people looking for staycations due to the coronavirus,” Spurham told SWNS.
“But since Basil’s stables are right next door, we thought why not do something really unique and open up a doorway between the two rooms so guests can meet Basil?”

Once visitors started posting videos on social media, the stalwart lodging became popular, and Spurham said Airbnb is sometimes booked up to a year in advance.
“It works well for Basil, too, because he always has company and gets a lot of fuss and attention,” she says.
Mr Sparham said Basil had a “very calm personality” and loved playing with his friends in the fields during the day, but was very excited when he came to the stable at night.

“You just open the gate from the field and he comes running right in on his own. He knows he’s going to get a lot of attention and he’ll have all the hay to himself all night.”

Guests can take advantage of the outdoor fireplace with barbecue grill, outdoor tiki hut, or stroll across the bridge to see cows, sheep, and horses.
