Kathy Lee Gifford It reflects how she embraces life in her 70s.
According to a press release from Shopping Network, the 71-year-old former “Live With Regis and Kathie Lee” host will serve as the ambassador for QVC’s Quintessential 50. On May 14th, Gifford attended QVC’s Tiktok Super Brand Day. This is an event commemorating the second year of QVC’s potential platform.
In an interview with Fox News Digital at the event, Gifford shared her thoughts on what age of possibilities means to her.
“Maybe it’s different from many women who think, ‘Is there a chance it’s still for me?’,” Gifford said.

“And they have a sense of despair — some of which have a bit of a sense of, ‘What am I doing here for now?”,” she continued. “But I have always had a purpose in my life. I was firm and immovable. I tried to believe in the Almighty God. And if I wake up every morning, it means I have a pulse. It means he has a purpose for me.

“And I can’t do it without him, so I won’t move forward,” Gifford added. “I can’t breathe without him, and I never spent a day in my life when I thought I could. I am grateful for that. I am grateful that I have come to such a faith early in my life. If I wasn’t rooted in my faith, I don’t know what Hollywood has.

“When I turned 50, I still had a small child,” said Cody’s mother, 35, and Cassidy, 31.
“And I was busy. I was still working with Regis, and even at 60, I was working with Regis,” Gifford continued. “And I’ve turned 71 this year.”
“If you live in the past, you’re going to die there.”
“I know it’s hard to believe,” she said. “There are things I’m not satisfied with in my body, but there are new books out there. There are three films I’m writing and producing with my son. What else are you doing? Two new grandchildren are coming.
“I mean, if you live in the past, you’re going to die there. If you’re focused on what you’ve lost in your life, you’re going to miss out on what you still have. And God wants to thank you.

Gifford began her acting career and made her television debut with a guest appearance on the episode of the soap opera “Days of Our Lives.” She was more widely recognized when she appeared on the music sitcom Hee Haw Honeys from 1978 to 1979. The series was a spin-off of the long-running variety show “Hee Haw.”
When she first started hosting “Regis and Live and Cathy Lee,” she became a common name. Regis Philbin, Gifford hosted a hit morning show from 1985 to 2000 and was awarded 10 Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his host of outstanding talk show with Philbin.
Gifford held the morning show “Today” at Hoda Kotb for 11 years from 2008 to 2019.

She is also an accomplished playwright, producer, singer-songwriter, writer and actress. Gifford has appeared in many television shows and films throughout her career. She wrote five musicals, including Broadway’s Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Amy Semple Macpherson. In 2013, Carmelo received a Tony Award nomination for his performance on the show.
Gifford also starred in Broadway. Carol Barnett Stephen Sondheim’s “Put Putting It” and “Annie” depicts Miss Honeygan. As an author, Gifford has written many books, including Five New York Times bestsellers and children’s books.
While talking to Fox News Digital, Gifford shared how she believes her positive attitude and hard work are key to success.

“There are a lot of people who feel entitled, and I was not qualified at all,” she said. “But when I got the job, I was grateful. And I was not the most beautiful girl who got the job, I was never the best singer, I was never the best dancer, I was never the best job, I was never the best attitude, and I had the best attitude. And I was the dream of a producer.”

In addition to Gifford, QVC’s Tiktok Super Brand Day was attended by former tennis star Billy Junking, television personality Stacey London, entrepreneur Barbara “Bubs” Costello, and other Q50 ambassadors, including new ambassadors. Hoda Kotb, philanthropist Kathy Hilton and alum Jenny Garth of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” While attending the event, Gifford and Kotb met again on the red carpet.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gifford recalled how he came to work for QVC.

“They called me years ago. Comes with register And she asked them to do a product line for them,” she said. And they said, “Now you might have to stay there and go back every 20 minutes or hours and do it in the middle of the night.

“We’ve sold out,” recalled Gifford. “We sold $5 million worth of sales in five minutes. We went to ‘Yeah.’ ”
“Now, it never happened every time I did QVC, but it was a great big step in the first place,” she added with a smile.
Gifford has said she is working ever since. With QVC On and off for many years.
“They’re a great organization,” she said. “Technically, they’re great, great, nice, lovely people. And you know me, I don’t hang out with mean people. I don’t do that.”
