“If that’s okay, we’re not going to have any men in women’s sports,” he said. “So, as an example, you don’t have to work on (quarterback) Bryson (everyday) as a man. But a lot of women don’t want to work on him. I don’t think so. I don’t think so. How crazy is that?
Several states are opposed to Trump’s orders, and federal government investigations into Title IX are underway. The Department of Agriculture also temporarily terminated federal funds to Maine, but the funds were recovered by a federal judge.
Maine Governors Janet Mills and Trump entered a highly publicized spat shortly after the order was signed.
Earlier this month, Washington School DistrictsBlue State voted to keep trans athletes out of women’s sports. The ruling contradicts the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) policy enacted in 2007, allowing transgender students to participate based on their gender identity.
In May, a trans athlete competed in the state’s women’s cross-country championship and won.

a New York Times/Ipsos Survey The vast majority of Americans, including the majority of Democrats, have discovered that they do not believe that trans athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
Of the 2,128 participants, 79% identified as women, biological men, said they should not be allowed to participate in female sports. Of the 1,025 identified as Democrats or Democrats they rely on, 67% said trans athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
