“President Trump is excited to return to Michigan’s Great State next Tuesday, where he will meet in Macomb County to celebrate his first 100 days!” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said he announced the rally in an X post.
President Trump’s campaigns in 2016, 2020 and 2024 all ended with rallying in Michigan’s battlefield states. This week’s visit to Macomb County followed his final 2024 campaign rally in Grand Rapids, where he joined the crowd shortly after midnight in the final hours before his victory over then-President Kamala Harris.
According to the Republican National Committee website, the event is being billed as a celebration of Trump’s “a legendary start to the presidency.” The rally will be held at Macomb Community College in Warren and will begin Tuesday at 6pm.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday and said next week it will be “very important.” The weight of the White House Whether or not you want to continue working towards a peace agreement? Congress reunites with an eye to passing the Trump-backed budget

Congress is expected to reunite Monday after a spring break, with Republican lawmakers expected to resume discussions over a budget plan that will advance Trump’s first-year agenda, including extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts and cutting out funds for border security to millions.

Trump offers an opening speech for the University of Alabama

Trump is scheduled to travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Thursday, where he will give his starter speech to University of Alabama alumni.
“I have agreed to give a start speech at two really great places, the University of Alabama and West Point. Stay tuned in time and date!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social last week.
Trump is expected to give a speech from the school’s Coleman Coliseum Arena on Thursday evening.
“The University of Alabama is honored that President Donald J. Trump has been selected as one of the universities he visits to give his spring start speech,” the university said in a statement this month.
Trump-funded American flags have been set up in the White House

Last week, Trump previewed his administration as he purchased and installed giant flag poles that feature glory on both the grass on the north and south of the White House. Trump told the media he would personally fund the flag, telling him he could be ready one day this week.

“We have a beautiful, almost 100 feet American flag on this side, with two other flags on the other side,” he told reporters Wednesday outside the White House, adding that “it’s going to be paid by Trump.”
“They needed flag poles for 200 years. That was something I often said, you know, they don’t have a flag pole in their own right. So we have one where you saw us, and we have another one on the mound. It’s going to be two beautiful poles.”
Trump added Wednesday that the flag will “arrival in about a week or so.” The American flag is currently flying only from the roof of the White House.
