president Donald Trump He denounced a pair of Democrats for introducing a bill that required federal immigration law enforcement officials not to wear face masks and have easy-to-read IDs while they work, and lawmakers said they “hate our country” or “he didn’t say so.”
“Now, two democratic senators, Corey Booker and Alex Padilla, have put out a new bill. They want to request CBP and ICE personnel for easy-to-read IDs. Peter Doucy of Fox News asked Trump during Wednesday’s lunch with the African president.
“Well, even if they didn’t hate our country,” Trump responded before praising the officers at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE). “And they obviously do that. I’m amazed that they’ll learn a bit about them and do it.”
“these Officers do extraordinary things Job, “He went on.” They are great patriots. When you publish them, statements like those made by Democrats and others on the left, usually, perhaps exclusively, you think you put them in great danger, a great danger. ”

New Jersey Democrat Corey Booker and California’s Alex Padilla introduced the bill on Tuesday, calling it the visible identification standard for immigration-based law enforcement (visible) law, which requires CBP and ICE agents to wear identification while working, and they do not wear face masks that hide their identity.
DHS fights back against Democrats for “pale” rhetoric as ice agents face a wave of violent threats
“For weeks, Americans have seen undistinguished federal agents detain people from the streets and instill fear in communities across the country,” Booker said Tuesday of the bill. “Reporting individuals impersonating ice officers only increased the risks to public and officer safety. The lack of visible identification and uniform standards for immigrant executives has created confusion, fear and undermining public confidence in law enforcement.”
Federal immigration law enforcement officials, including at least two ambushings in Texas, have been repeatedly targeted by protesters, including ice facilities, after protesters who recently clashed with federal officers in Portland, Oregon, signed a “big beautiful bill” in the “Big Beautiful Building” on Friday.

Anti-ice rhetoric escalated particularly in June, when federal officials raided to descend to Los Angeles and deport illegal immigrants.
“And you can’t see anything in front of Columbia before Harvard, masking more than a mask. If a patriot who works on ice or border patrols puts his mask down so that he doesn’t recognize him and his family, don’t do unmasked pieces after living a normal life. “There’s a problem with that.”
Trump continued that Democrats were “a bit confused,” adding that the wealthy people on the left are likely to fund the mob to attack federal law enforcement officials.

“This is a Democratic issue,” Trump said. “They’re having a lot of bad things happening in their heads. They’re very… they’ve lost confidence. And they’re really a bit confused. I want to do whatever it takes to protect our great law enforcement people. And they’re at the top of the list.”
Doucy asked Trump about the ambush in Alvarado, Texas on July 4, leading to the arrest of 10 mobs.
“A few days ago, President Trump of Alvarado, Texas, could see 10 people wearing black people being able to launch fireworks outside their ice offices, lure officers out, ambush them and shoot guns,” Doucy asked.

Trump shot back that “very stupid people on the left” were funding rioters targeting executives.

“I think on the left there are some really stupid people who have the money that makes these people use it,” Trump said. “You see the guns they had, so they’re brand new. Even the clothes they were wearing, it looked like it just came out of some military stores. So, even if something happened, they’re going to be the first to go.”
“They’re going to be their first hit,” Trump added.
