She spoke with MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace “Best People” podcast.
“I think from a team perspective, because I have a lot of experience in the team community,” Wangbach explained. “And I am the person representing this country, and I consider myself very patriotic in many ways, but my relationship with the country is very complicated because of everything that is happening within our administration, what we see.
“But one of the things Trump and the administration is genius is to make people believe they are part of this community. The work of this community allows people to not pay attention to all the little things.
Wangbach said when someone was trying to develop a so-called “team culture,” what Trump and his administration did with its development were “a very clever way to do it.”

But Wangbach believes Trump supporters have a second thought.
“I think you’re watching some people go. I think, ‘Wait a second when I didn’t sign up for all of this.” He didn’t hide the playbook, so it makes me laugh. I also think there is probably a sector of people who say, “Yeah, we want all this to happen.”
“I think there’s a small version, but I think some of the people who voted for him probably question their vote, and I’m also embarrassed to go back to it. Once you’ve gotten into that community, you know where you’re going, you don’t actually jump over the boat, you don’t actually jump over the boat.
Trump promoted his vote count earlier this month, saying his approval rating was “the best ever.”
