Tristan Rogers is best known for starring as Robert Scorpio in the long-running soap opera General Hospital. He was 79 years old.
“General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini announced the death of Rogers in a personal statement shared on the official Instagram page of the ABC TV series on Friday. Last month, Rodgers representative confirmed to Fox News Digital that the actor was there He was diagnosed with cancer.

Rogers has appeared in more than 1,400 episodes of “General Hospital” over 40 years.

In addition to his role in “General Hospital,” Rogers starred as Colin Atkinson in the CBS melodrama “Young and the Restless,” which appeared on 200 episodes of the show from 2010 to 2012.
He has won Daytime Emmy Excellent performance for the production of “Studio City” in 2020 by supporting actors from the digital drama series. Rogers was then appointed to “The Bay” the following year.
