US Women’s soccer star Trinity Rodman aired some of the things she had in mind at Wimbledon this month about the attention she received to support her boyfriend Ben Shelton.
One of them included not rating ESPN broadcasts that raised her father.NBA Star Dennis Rodman.
Trinity wrote an Instagram story on Monday. There she said she doesn’t like her life being discussed at Wimbledon, who came in the fourth round match between Shelton and Lorenzo Sonego.

“For Ben’s match, he has his family as his support system. Including his father… my father doesn’t have to raise him when he doesn’t want to talk about him in my life during my match,” Trinity wrote in her story. “It’s a moment between him and his loved one. Thank you (emoji thumb).”
Trinity also appears to have called out the ESPN team for mispronounced her team.
“For those who don’t know… My name is Trinity, not Tiffany,” she said with a laughing emoji.
In December, Trinity discussed her rocky relationship with her NBA champion father. “Call Her Daddy” podcast. She claimed he was an absent father and an alcoholic.

“I lost hope for him to get him back. I’m now answering the phone, like my conscience is, ‘He had to hear me,'” Trinity said. “So I answer the phone. It’s not for me. He’s not dad, maybe not blood, and nothing else.”
Trinity also said that hope was lost after her father made a surprise appearance NWSL Playoff Games For the Washington Spirit of 2021, but I’ve never heard of it from him.
