Department of Education (DOE) Director Linda McMahon announced Wednesday that the team will begin an investigation into Washington’s public leadership. Chris Lake Dal’s Office.
The team, a joint initiative by the DOE and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), is taking action in response to Lakedal, which requires schools to allow biologically male trans-athletes for women’s sports teams.

McMahon has warned Lakedal and other Democrat-controlled nations.
“It appears that Washington state is using its authority position to hide ‘gender identity’ information from student parents, secretly smuggle gender ideology into the classroom, confuse students, and adopt policies to smuggle boys into girls’ sports, bathrooms and locker rooms,” McMahon said.
“If so, these are clear violations of parental rights and women’s equality in athletics, protected by federal law enforced by the Trump administration.”
Reykdal provided a statement to Fox News Digital, noting that his office would cooperate with the federal investigation.
“My job as a leader in this Constitutional Bureau is to communicate, support and enforce the law,” Lakedal said. “My office will enforce current laws because they will need to be done until Congress changes the law. And/or federal courts will override the laws of Washington. Unless that happens, we will comply with Washington laws, not the political trends of the president expressed through illegal orders.”
Reykdal spoke in defense. Transgender athlete Women’s Sports argued in a speech on February 20th that it was “inaccurate” to say there are only two genders.
“Biologically, it’s very inaccurate to say that there are only boys and only girls,” Lakedal said on camera. “There is a continuum, there is science in this. Born in Intersex. Some children have no matching hormones and chromosomes with their sex at birth. ”
High school athletes in Washington are permitted to compete on the basis of gender identity rather than biological sex. The Washington Scholastic Activities Association (WIAA) policy states that each athlete will participate in a program that “matches gender identity or the most consistently expressed gender” with no medical or legal requirements.
A bill has been introduced that prohibits transgender girls from participating in sports for girls and women, but has not passed.
The Kennewick Education Board filed a Title IX complaint with the DOE Civil Rights Office against Rekdal’s office in late March.
Before Gabe Galbraith, president of Kennewick Board of Education He told Fox News The district is calling for federal intervention to ensure that the order is ultimately respected.
“We have boys who are participating in girls’ sports. We have boys in girls’ locker rooms. That’s unfair. It’s not safe. We’re asking the federal government to put an end to this and ensure that the state is following President Trump’s statement,” he said.
Other school districts have risen to Lakedal since President Trump signed Executive Order 5, “Exclude men from women’s sports.”
Tumwater School District’s The board voted later that month to ban the Trans Girls from playing women’s sports teams. Resolution passed by a 3-1 vote after civil rights A complaint has been filed against a district over an incident involving a trans athlete at a women’s basketball game.

According to the document, Staudt asked the school’s principal and athletic director before the game whether the player was a biological male. The administrator then confirmed that the player was notified that he was transgender, but pleaded to remove the player.
However, DOE OCR announced a survey of the Tumwater School District a few days later.
Now, the Trump administration has raised the state’s chain of command even further, aiming to be a manager.
In addition to reports that Washington schools are allowing trans athletes in girls’ sports, DOE announced Wednesday that the LA Center School District at LA Center, Washington State, received it.
