Nashville, Tennessee – Todd and Julie Chrisley, who have been serving prison time for tax evasion and bank fraud since their 2022 conviction, are preparing to embark on an entirely new chapter in their lives. President Donald Trump’s pardon.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, the couple’s lawyers explained how a “incredibly powerful” pardon could wipe “fully” and “fully “fully” as if it never happened.
“A pardon like this generally ends the case completely, so a fine print of forgiveness is explicitly displayed, but generally when it is forgiven, it wipes off. “It’s as if the case hasn’t happened, and fortunately, Todd and Julie will be able to pick up life, move forward, and focus on the future at the best they can.”

“I think the amnesty process was something that was not used by many presidents on many conditions. This president is part of his role in looking at it clearly, seeing violations, and overseeing the criminal justice system. But it was an incredibly powerful tool that the president has and that he was using it.
Todd and Julie were convicted in June 2022 of federal bank fraud and tax evasion. The couple was reported to prison on January 17th and were sentenced to 12 and 7 years, respectively. Their writing later diminished.
On Tuesday, Trump called out the couple’s daughter Savannah Chrisley, The son then chases after Chrisley and informs them of his plans to forgive his parents.

“It’s awful, but it’s great because your parents are free and clean. I hope we can do that by tomorrow. Is that okay? X Account White House aide. Some of the posts were captioned, “Trump knows best!”
Little says that both Todd and Julie are “very grateful” to Trump and look forward to moving their lives forward.
“As you can imagine, neither of us wanted to believe that this was likely to happen. It’s extremely difficult to live every day that this might happen,” Little said. “But now they are clearly very grateful to the President and very grateful for the opportunity to become a family.”
“The next step right now is to bring the family back together,” he added. “I think we need to remember that there are minor children involved. Todd and Julie have young adults ready to have moms and dads at home, and I think it will take time to become a family.

Savannah has been advocating for their release since the pair went to prison in January 2023, and contacted Trump earlier this year. Their beliefs were supported Last summer, by a panel of three judges.
“Thank you so much, President,” Savannah could hear him say on the phone. Chase shed tears and added, “I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back.”
“They were given pretty strict treatment based on what I’m hearing, pretty strict treatment,” Trump said. “Bless your parents, and I hear they are wonderful people. This should have happened.”
After a call with Trump, Savannah posted a video on Instagram and said she received a call from the president saying she was signing pardon papers for her parents while walking into Sam’s club.

“So both my parents came home tonight and tomorrow, but I still don’t think that’s true!” she cried.

Little said Savannah’s defense has been extremely helpful in Trump’s decision.
“He is undoubtedly, Savannah’s parents’ advocacy against her parents played a major role in leading this to the finish line. “Everyone in that situation needs an advocate who is as obsessive as she does.

“I think every parent wants to have a daughter as devoted as Savannah,” he added. “She took away the last years of her life and helped raise her siblings when her parents went missing, but she also devoted most of her time to kicking her parents out of prison.
