Tim Allen Erica Kirk’s memorial speech “has had a profound impact” on him.
On Thursday, Allen took her to X and shared that she was personally moved by the forgiveness of Kirk, the man who allegedly killed her husband. Charlie Kirk, Forgiveness wasn’t that easy for him to give.

“I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my father. I now say those words: “I forgive the man who killed my father.” Peace is with you,” Allen wrote.
Allen’s father died in 1978 after a drunk driver crashed into his car. Allen was 11 years old at the time of her father’s death.

Erica publicly forgives Charlie’s service on Sunday Tyler Robinson, The 22-year-old is accused of killing the founder of Turning Point USA.

Charlie “wanted to save the young man, just like the one who took his life,” she said.

“Our Savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, I don’t know what they are doing.’ That young man… I forgive him,” Erica said. “It’s what Christ did and that’s what Charlie does, so I forgive him.”

Charlie was assassinated at the Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on September 10th.
Robinson has been arrested and faces several charges, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of firearms, obstruction of justice, tampering with eyewitnesses and violent crimes in front of a child.
