Ben Affleck He’s straightforward about the way he grew up.

“The other day I was thinking about it. I went to the movie. I was an actual Latchkey kid. I walked to school,” he explained. “Like first grade, I had a key with a thread around my neck and I went to school. I wanted to see a movie. I remember watching Star Wars. I took the subway like three stops, and I’m sure I’ve seen it 20 times. ”
When asked by host Jimmy Kimmel how old he was when he began traveling around town on his own, Affleck admitted he was a young man, aged five, six or seven.

As parents of three children, Violet (age 19), Seraphina (age 16), and Samuel, 13, share it with his ex-wife. Jennifer GarnerAffleck understands, “If you did that in Imaishi Los Angeles, they’d call child protection services like, ‘This guy must be jailed’.”

In the new film, Affleck’s character tries to make a romantic connection, and in one scene, he begins a line dance to connect with the women. In a recent interview on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Affleck explained that “multiple instructors” were hired to give dance lessons.

After mentioning this, Clarkson enjoyed the need for multiple teachers to learn, and Affleck joked. “I didn’t need multiple instructors. [saying] “Are you practicing dancing? Do you practice dancing?” [I thought] “How unadjusted do you think I’m not being adjusted?”
Affleck brought his three children to the film’s premiere, but he admitted that when it came to his work, they would “not censor their criticisms” by saying he was “very harsh.”

“They sit right next to me and watch the movie and while it’s happening, [say] “This is terrible. I mean, this is terrible. Why did you do this?” he said.
The actor made the headline last month when he refused to buy his son $6,000 sneakers. In a video of Tiktok, filmed at a shoe convention, Samuel was seen asking for shoes from his father.

During his recent appearance on “Today with Jenna & Friends,” Affleck detailed the incident, explaining that it is important for him that his children understand. The value of working hard. He shared that both his older children have jobs “like classic teenagers.”
“You love your kids. You want to give them everything and do everything for them, but I think you will definitely be at a disadvantage to them by not connecting. [if] You want what you want, you have to work for it,” he said.

The hard work lessons apply to sports too. Affleck shares that he is not a parent like the one who will force his kids to win when it comes to playing games with them.
On the “Kelly Clarkson Show,” Affleck shared how he’s growing up. Matt Damon And seeing his dynamic with his father inspired him to “earn” his children a victory.
“I told my son when I was serious about playing basketball with him. He always wanted to play me and I said, ‘I won’t win you,'” he explained. “It reminded me of Matt Damon’s dad and he didn’t let him win, so when Matt finally beat his father, I think it was one of the best days of Matt’s life. He never forgot it.”
