When the discourse went to social media, the former Pennsylvania star was unhappy with what happened to college football.
“College football is a joke now! He wrote to X.
He then responded to another person in X, claiming that college football has always been a semi-professional league and players are being paid illegally.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yomark and Big Ten Commissioner Tony Pettitty were in the Lobby Congress last week to help legislate the NIL in college track and field.
Yomark told Brett Byer “Special Report” Thursday, “I need help from Congress.”
