
Teddi Mellencamp is still hopeful as he fights stage 4 cancer, despite doctors warning him that he has a 50% survival rate.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Star was hospitalized earlier this year with multiple brain tumors. During the procedure to remove the mass, doctors discovered two additional tumors in the lungs.
Mellencamp, 43, admitted that the average life expectancy rate for cancer patients falls into her mind while receiving immunotherapy for treatment.

“I learned that this is not the best question to ask if you’re undergoing immunotherapy, because I only had around ten years of immunotherapy,” she told Nightline.
She was initially upset to hear that immunotherapy had a success rate of “50/50”.

“It’s one of my favorite things, and they often say 50/50,” she said. Mellencamp remembered saying, “50/50? You’re probably going to buy a car that only drives 50% of the time. I don’t want this.”
She said, “And [the doctor’s] “No, it’s just how long immunotherapy has been around, so that’s just how long the research worked.” So I try to find a positive. ”

Finding positivity was sometimes a challenge.
“I really want to control it, but this is completely out of my control. And for the first time, I’m really scared,” Mellencamp said.

“Yesterday, my dad calls me 11 times in a row. Finally, I say, ‘I’m in a bath. Let’s live a little bit,'” Teddy explained on her podcast, “Two TS of the Pod.” “The Real Housewives” Startamra judge.
“He goes, “I just want to make sure you’re in the spirit soleum of our group family.”

She went on to say she immediately thought of her three children, Slate, 12 years old. Cruz, 10; and pigeons, 5, and they fall into the spirits of the Indiana family.
“He said, ‘Well, there’s the top five, there’s going to be a little area around it, and that’s where everyone gets buried.” She continued. “He goes, “You’re doing your will now, so you can put it there too.”
In the end, she said, “I think I agreed to be in the Spirit,” and joked that someone she met too long ago had urged her to put “Hot Girls Never Die” on the gravestone.

In February, after drug therapy became ineffective for migraines and Mellencamp began to feel severe pain, she rushed to the emergency room with her estranged husband, Edwin Aroyabe.

“The pain had become something I had never felt before,” she said. “They diagnosed me Multiple brain tumors,but [ER doctor] He says he can’t take them out. They have to take me to Cedars Sinai [hospital].
“And I was like, ‘Can’t you take me tonight? I want to go tonight.’ I had six brain tumors and two lung tumors.
Mellencamp began treatment for radiation and immunotherapy shortly after surgery.
“After I lifted my head, I thought I was feeling how I felt,” she said. “My response has always been a headache and that means immunotherapy or radiation is killing your cancer, so it turns out to be good news.”

“I’m so tired and I’m running away, but I know I’ll get better again,” Mellencamp said on social media after receiving both radiation and immunotherapy the day before.
