The hill is alive – with the sound of reunion.
The former child star of “Sound of Music” who has remained friends for 60 years, recently reunited in Florence, Italy. Kym Karath, who played Gretl’s youngest Von Trapp Sibling, shares photos of the group and enjoys a bottle of wine On her Instagram.

In the snap, Karath appeared alongside 75-year-old Nicholas Hammond. Duane Chase, 74, played Kurt. Angela Cartwright, 72, played Bridgetta. Debbie Turner, 68, played Malta.
It was a bittersweet reunion for our friends. Heather Menzies Urich, who played Louisa, passed away in 2017 at the age of 68. His eldest son’s brother, Charmian Kerr, passed away in 2016 at the age of 73.
Christopher Plummer played the family head captain von Trapp; He passed away in 2021 At the age of 91.

“It was a complete joy to celebrate together in Florence with my brothers from all of my films,” Karath told Fox News Digital.
“The five of us appeared in the breathtaking historic theatre district New Linini, one of the most beautiful cities of Florence, built in 1648. “The media was amazing, and the fans were overwhelmingly warm and enthusiastic.”
Karath said it’s easy for castmates to get close over the years.

“I think the secret behind our friendship is the secret of all lasting friendship, but we started out in a film studio, but we are close and faithful and existed with each other,” the actress explained.

The descendants of the Fontrap Family run the Fontrap Family Lodge & Resort in Vermont.
“There’s a little-known fact here – the film family is a real family and friends,” Karath said. “We had just had a great conversation with Werner’s daughter, Elizabeth von Trapp, who was portrayed by Duane Chase…and they became friends.
There is one reason the cast enjoyed their Italian holiday.
