Kardashian, 44, pushed back at criticism she received after her 12-year-old daughter’s controversial fashion choices.
“Unless you’ve been here before, like mothers of teenagers and pre-teens, I think we all need a little bit of a reprieve,” she told Alex Cooper during an appearance on the show.please call her dad“Podcast.
The reality TV star added, “Everyone who’s raising kids, especially raising four kids on their own, I think I’m doing the best I can.” And my kids are good kids. So I ask you to be less judgmental and more graceful. [for] Single moms are just like any preteen you know, trying to figure everything out. If you know, that’s a lot. ”

Kardashian and her daughter North A 12-year-old boy was photographed in Rome wearing a corset-like top, skirt and blue hair, sparking intense criticism online.
“It’s funny because all the kids seem to be wearing the same thing, but my daughter tried to wear it and I was like, ‘Okay, I’m never going to wear it again,'” the SKIMS founder said. “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
“She’s a girl who always dresses like a tomboy,” Kardashian explained. “She wanted to try on what her friends were wearing, so she went to the same places her friends went. And all her friends had these clothes, and when she put them on, she was like, ‘Okay, wait a second, maybe I can’t wear that.’ So it’s like being a mom and learning at the same time.”

Kardashian emphasized that she will always give North creative freedom.
“She listens to me,” she clarified, “but the other part of me is like, ‘Baby, if you want blue hair, that’s fine.'” It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her. ”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said North often takes criticism straight.
“She’s so creative, so amazing, so funny. She’s so grown-up in a way. She’s like, ‘Mom, I saw this. It doesn’t bother me at all if people say they don’t like my blue hair or they don’t like this or that about me,'” Kardashian explained. “And she’s really confident and thinks, ‘I wouldn’t date those people.'”

Kardashian and daughter North share With ex-husband Kanye West. The former couple are also parents to daughter Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm.
Kardashian said she has a close relationship with North.

“Even if her rebelliousness is dyeing her hair or wearing something, if she’s like my best friend and we’re so close, I’ll let her be with me and be with me all the time and try every hair color.”
“Just like I’m nurturing her creative side, you know?” she added. “She’s a girl who just wants to come home and work in a music studio, and she can stay in the studio for like eight hours straight, and she loves it and it allows her to grow. So I nurture her creative side and want her to do that too.”
