“The @simone_biles argument is the antithesis of Title 9 and equal opportunity offered to women. Sometimes men who make girls a dangerous and compromise situation and pretend to be women feel better about themselves,” Ferry writes.
Ferry added his support for Gaines to the post.
“Simone doesn’t win medals if he competes with men,” he wrote. “Serena Williams won’t win a tournament if she’s competing with men. They’re the best they’ve ever done. Why should we compromise with high school and college girls and take away their opportunities?”
A social media post from Simone Biles said, “It’s good that guys don’t compete with girls.”

“But instead… you bully them… one thing is certainly not that no one in the sport is safe with you!!!!!”
Gaines replied To the Biles attack.
“This is such a shame. My view is the most controversial take on the planet,” Gaines wrote in response to Biles’ post. “Is Simone Biles a male apologist at the expense of a young girl’s dream? I didn’t have that on my bingo card.
