Pro Football Hall of Fame Shannon Sharp previously offered a settlement of about $10 million to the woman who filed a lawsuit against the former NFL Sharpe’s lawyers allegedly accused him of sexual assault, battery and other allegations in a press conference with the media on Tuesday.
Lanny J. Davis, Sharp’s lawyer for civil suits filed over the weekend, revealed that Sharp had made three previous offers to settle the case with the plaintiff in the “last month or so” case Super Bowl The champion was blind to a civil complaint filed Sunday.

Sharp was charged with assault, sexual assault, battery and sexual battery. He was also accused of being involved in “a deliberate violation of emotional distress.”
Davis responded to the lawsuit in a lengthy statement that the former shared to his social media accounts on Monday. In the message, Davis shared a sexually explicit message that the plaintiff said he had been sent to Sharp. He also called the lawsuit “a blatant and ironic attempt to shake up Mr Sharp for millions of dollars.”
Sharp reflected that sentiment in his first official duties regarding the lawsuit. He released the X video before Davis’ press conference on Tuesday, calling for legal action against a “shakedown.”
Sharp also alleged that plaintiff’s lawyer, Tony Buzby, is planning to release an edited sex tape to support the plaintiff’s charges.

“This is a shakedown. This isn’t right, so I’m going to be open, transparent and protect myself. All this is being adjusted by Tony Buzby,” Shape said. “Tony Buzbee is targeting black men. I think he’s going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that makes me feel guilty and tries to get me to play every stereotype I can imagine.”
In response to Davis and Sharp’s comments on Tuesday, Buzby confirmed the offer of settlement, denied the accusation that the video the plaintiff had had in some way changed, calling the allegations “clearly false but desperate.”
“There’s actually an incredibly terrible video. The content of that video speaks to the volume of Mr. Sharp and his actions. The video played by the ju-describers is very problematic for Mr. Sharp.’s team has made it clear that the video will try to make an effort to move forward with the effort.
Buzbee also said that the text Davis released just a day ago was a suspected date of the assault, and that the plaintiff ultimately refused the $10 million offer of settlement.

Davis concluded that a press conference Tuesday accused the plaintiff of making “wickly and tenacious accusations,” confirming that a counterclaim would be filed.
