Selma Blair We shared positive health updates on fighting multiple sclerosis.
The 52-year-old actress, who first announced that she was diagnosed with MS in 2018, revealed on Thursday that she was “really not recurring” from symptoms of a chronic autoimmune disease.
“I’m doing surprisingly well. I’ve been feeling good for about a year,” the “legally blonde” star said. People Magazine. “But I finally feel like I’m really, really, really… I always feel like I’m doing my best, but now I have stamina and energy so I’m not that scared to go out and go.”

“It’s funny. I haven’t spent enough time having dreams, and now it’s like, ‘What is my dream?’,” she said.
“Maybe since the diagnosis… you’ve been just tired all the time. I’ve been feeling bad and so tired for a lot of my life, so I think I’m just trying to spend the day,” Blair explained.
“And now it’s like, ‘Wait, I realised I don’t know what my goal is.’ ”

In addition to acting, Blair, who wrote her 2022 memoir, “Mean Baby: A Growth Up,” told people she plans to write a “Young Adult Book” in the fantasy genre.

After revealing her diagnosis, Blair was open about her struggle. On MSand she used her platform to raise awareness and support others suffering from the illness.
While talking to the actress, she said, “Advocating for people with chronic illnesses, getting better, and how do you look when you’re not reciting your wishes? How do we give us new life??”
In August 2018, Blair revealed her MS diagnosis in an emotional Instagram post.

“I have #Multiplesclerosis. I’m getting worse,” she wrote in part. “The Lord’s grace and producer of power and understanding at Netflix, I have a job. It’s a great job. I’m disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memories get foggy.
“But we’re doing that,” she continued. “And I laugh, I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do, but I’ll do my best.”

Blair has been in remission from MS since 2021 after undergoing a stem cell transplant and treating her condition.
