Shawn: Diddy, Combs The defense team began closing the debate on Friday with the seventh week of the rapper’s sex trafficking and assault trial approaching the end.
Diddy’s lawyer, Mark Agnifilo, accused the prosecution of filing a “fake trial” against the rapper “last night” when the government went after his “private sex life.”
Diddy’s defense allegedly not testified that none of the prosecutor’s witnesses were engaged in the assault. Agnifilo said all former employees of the dishonest music mogul are working for him, but that’s like “going to Harvard Business School.”
“It’s a fake trial I’m talking about,” Agnifilo told the ju judge, claiming that the prosecutors were unable to prove the government’s theory of assault.

Agnifilo then raised the attack on Didi’s house, pointing to the astroglide and the seizure of baby oil. The defense attorney said there was nothing about the rapper’s business to make this a criminal case.
“Where is the crime scene? The crime scene is your personal sex life,” Agnifilo said.
According to Diddy’s defensethis case was about money. He said the Diddy investigation came about after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sued the rapper for $30 million. Agnifilo argued that Cassie would not have sued without millions of Diddy. “We’re here for the money,” he told the ju judge.
Before finishing the discussion, Didi walked to court wearing a beige sweater. He gave small waves, gave him a thumbs up, and moved his heart with his hands. The rapper then sat down and hugged Agnifilo.

“There’s nothing to worry about,” replied Agnifilo.
