“In just two tweets, Simone Biles essentially hurt her reputation for fighting to fight in a sport-related way with people who have honest fragments, moral compasses, and those with an innate innate desire to protect women, especially for opportunities for both men and women,” she said. “The conclusion I drew on social media based on responses I saw over the last 12 hours at this point is essentially incinerating her legacy in two tweets.”

The Olympic gymnast called Gaines a “bully” and said “no one in the sport is safe with you.”

Gaines said in her podcast that Biles’s posts showed that she could be competing in the obvious support and gymnastics of transgender athletes. Megan Rapinoe’s Playbook. “I think she blindly insisted this without really thinking about the effect of what this would look like,” Gaines said. “Without women’s gymnastics, no one would know Simone Biles. …If her comprehensive dream were to be real, she would have zero gold medals.”
