Richard Simmons“Long-time housekeeper and companion Teresa Level talks about the last year of the late fitness guru.

She said their relationship was not sexual, but she admitted that they were very close.
“He fell in love with me right away (no, you’re never going to leave me,” she explained. She told her that he “like my brother… my dad, my friend, my boyfriend, everything I do.”
Rebel claimed that she and Simmons were not. Romantic partnerand if anyone was confused by the unconventional relationship she shared with him, she said, “It’s their problem. We were so happy, and the last decade was our happiest year.”
When asked about Simmons’ sexual orientation, he never publicly disclosed, she refused to answer, but when asked if she had ever known the romantic partner he had, she said, “I. He never loves someone like me.”

She said, “Well, he wasn’t my lover and wasn’t sexually sexually, but he always kissed me.”
She said of how the secluded Simmons turned out in the year leading up to his death, “He wasn’t happy that he was old.” You know…full of life. ”

In a message to Fox News Digital, Simmons’ longtime friend Tom Estay said, “Celebrate Richard, celebrate humanity, his birthday. I’ve been with him for over 30 years. More importantly, we’ve been best friends for a long time.
On July 11, 2024, Simmons fell and spent the next day in bed. On the morning of July 13th, it was discovered that Simmons did not respond on the floor in his bedroom. Authorities were called and declared he was dead at the scene.
Fitness instructor and TV icon died as a result of a blunt traumatic injury. Los Angeles County Medical Examination Office It was announced two months later. The death of the 76-year-old was ruled as an accident.
Atherosclerotic cardiovascular was listed as a contributing factor.

At the time, Rebel told people, “When I saw him, he looked peaceful.”
When she found him, she said his hand was being balled in his fist and “So I guess it’s Heart attack. I had a heart attack a few years ago and my hands did the same thing. ”
The day before he passed away, Rebel said that Simmons’s legs had been hurt since the previous fall. Simmons passed away one day after her birthday on July 12th.
She told him, “Let’s go to the hospital. Maybe you’ve broken your leg.” Simmons protested. “No, Teresa, it’s not my birthday. Why? [don’t we] Wait, will we do that in the morning? ”

Officials at the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed with Fox News Digital that his death had had “no foul plays” and “no foul plays.”
