Rinna and Harry Hamlin talked about the reality TV star’s experiences with postnatal depression in an episode of their co-podcast.

The “Days of Our Life” star doesn’t recall the specific threat to Hamlin, but he remembers the hallucinations she had at the time.
“I had these horrifying hallucinations of killing people, and I had to take my knife out of the house,” insisted Rinna. “And I also had a terrible vision of driving a car against a brick wall.”

She first experienced postnatal depression after giving birth to the couple’s eldest son, Delilah Hamlin in 1998.
“God, I was just hopeless,” explained Rinna. “I was absolutely hopeless. A huge dark cloud around me. I don’t know how to explain it, because mine never showed up towards the baby at all. It was heading towards me. Looking back, I was totally mentally ill.”
