Paul said CBS’s “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan and he and three other Republican senators would oppose the bill unless amended.
“I think there are four of us at this point. I’d be very surprised if the bill hasn’t changed for the better,” Paul said.
“I want to make the tax cuts permanent, but at the same time I don’t want to raise the debt cap by 5 trillion,” he continued, adding. “GOP” If they vote for this, they own the debt. ”
