Disgraceful R&B singer R. Kelly, He is currently sentenced to 30 years in prison for federal assault and sex trafficking convictions, but was hospitalized after an overdose in prison.

The “ignition” singer’s lawyer alleged that prison officials would administer a dangerously high dose of his drug, leading to an overdose. Kelly, 58, usually takes medication for anxiety and sleep medication, the document reads.
Kelly’s lawyers had recently filed for temporary fraud.
In his filing, his lawyer said, “Within two days of filing his claim, Prison Bureau officials overdose Mr Kelly well beyond the safe dose, administering a drug that put his life at risk.

According to his lawyers, “Due to Mr. Kelly the overdose a few days after the revelation of the prison plot to kill him is not the end of the BOP action that put his life at risk.”
The submission claimed that it “actually gets even worse.”
His legal team said Kelly had been complaining about her swollen legs for several months. This is a particular concern due to its previous history with blood clots. He reportedly sought medical procedures repeatedly, but was provided with limited or delayed care.
Earlier this year, Kelly was said to be undergoing a scan to detect a blood clot, but “he was later told by the prison medical staff that he was allowed to advise him that he would no longer receive a thin shinner,” the document said.

The lawyers alleged that the decision occurred within the last three months, putting the client at a serious risk of medical complications.
The submission also states, “Mr. Kelly has shed tears today and juxtaposed the acts of the Prison Bureau with Mikiel Stein’s declaration, for fear of killing or dying him, and since that declaration was made public, he has juxtaposed the declaration of Mikiel Stein. Under investigation of his case.”
After his recent hospitalization, Kelly was forced to remove from Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolinadespite the doctors advised it, according to the submission.
When Fox News Digital reached out to the Prison Bureau, their team declined to comment, saying “We will not discuss the conditions for confinement of incarcerated individuals, including medical and health-related issues, for privacy, safety and security reasons.”

In June 2022, Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in New York after being convicted of assault and sex trafficking.
