Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, missed the event for the second year in a row.
According to reports from Guardian, The Prince and Princess of Wales and their families spend their days off in Norfolk at their country home, Ammerhall, Sandringham Estate.
The family similarly skipped the festival last year, but Middleton was being treated for a cancer currently in remission.

Representatives from the Prince and Princess of Wales and Buckingham Palace did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
