Prince Harry is said to be “desperate” to reconcile with his family.
UK Daily Mail Recently, the Duke of Sussex reported to the Royals that they had quietly expanded their olive branches by offering to share his official engagement schedule. According to the outlet, this is a bid to ease tensions between him and his father, Charles III, and he is battling a private cancer.
Fox News Digital has reached out to spokesmen for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for comment. The couple’s office declined to comment when they reached People Magazine.

It is noted that Harry’s recent visit to Angola, honoring his late mother, Princess Diana, overturned the story of Queen Camilla’s 78th birthday.

The outlet also revealed that Harry, who shares his diary, potentially sparks a conversation about when the father and son can meet again in person. Harry and Charles were last together for a short meeting in February 2024 after Buckingham Palace announced Cancer diagnosis at 76 years old.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital he was optimistic about Harry’s latest move.

“This represents a goodwill gesture,” he said. “Sussex should always respect the royal calendar where natural attention is given to avoid conflicts as much as possible. …This is a highly valued practical move. Sussex appears to be getting good advice.”

Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner agreed.
“This is a very important departure and development as Harry tries to find a peaceful way,” he told Fox News Digital. “In my opinion, this should be interpreted as a future path and the royal family accepting it and moving on to a peaceful conclusion in the future.”

“I want to reconcile with my family,” he said. “There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. I don’t know how long my dad has.”

The Daily Mail reported that Harry’s aide held a private meeting with London’s Secretary of Communications on July 9th.

Fox News Digital has learned that Meredith Maines, the Duke of Sussex’s Chief of Staff and Director of Communications, had travelled across the pond to meet with pond-based communications team, media, stakeholders and seniors associated with the Prince’s sponsorship. The visit was completely routine and was part of ongoing planning and involvement.
Representatives of Buckingham Palace and the Duchess of Sussex did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment at the time.
Still, the insider told People Magazine, “This was a good first step.”
