As a cleft between Prince Harry Charles Lll King As the seemingly intensifying, senior aides from both sides reportedly met to begin recuperating their broken relationship.
According to Sunday emailMeredith Maines – The Duke of Sussex’s Chief of Staff and Communications Director flew from Montecito, California to London and met with Toby Andrea, Charles King Charles’ communications secretary. Liam Maguire, who oversaw the British press for Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, was also present.
“There’s a long way ahead, but now there are many years of communication channels open,” the source told the email. “There was no formal agenda, it was just casual drinks. There was something that both parties wanted to talk about.”
The informal meeting was reportedly held in the Royal Overseas League, a private member club.

Sources said the meeting was “just a first step towards reconciliation between Harry and his father, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.”
“Everyone just wants to move on and move forward right now. It was finally time for both parties to talk,” the source added.
Fox News Digital learned that Maines is in London to meet with UK-based communications team, media, stakeholders and seniors associated with Duke’s sponsorship. The visit was completely routine and was part of ongoing planning and involvement.

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith recently told People Magazine that he had a desire to reconnect on Charles’ part, but “the fundamental issue is trust.”
“The King and Prince William don’t trust Harry and Meghan in all sorts of secret conversations,” she said.
Insider told the outlet that William in particular “is not interested in expanding the olive branches.”
