Bono, the lead singer of the popular band U2, met Pope Francis on multiple occasions. He first met with the Pope in a private audience with him in September 2018 at the Vatican.

After the meeting, speaking to the journalist, Bono said that the Pope was “very elegant in his time, his focus.”
They met again in May 2022 at the launch conference of the International Movement at Shoalus Oclentes.
Chris Rock
Chris Rock He met Pope Francis in June 2024, and he and 100 other comedians, including Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Julia Louis Dreyfus, were invited to the Vatican by the Pope to highlight the importance of comedy in society.
“It can make people smile while dealing with issues and events, big and small,” the Pope said he was present at Rock and other comedians. “You condemn the abuse of power, give a voice to forgotten situations and point out inappropriate behavior. He is most likely filming the film “Black Butterfly,” released in May 2017 in Italy.
