PETA will be at Hot Dog Eating Contest during Joey Chestnut’s return

Joey Chestnut Returning to Coney Island on July 4th may result in some wrinkles.

Chestnut was not entitled to compete at last year’s Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest following the dispute arising from his signature Impossible food.

But with just a few weeks, the teams all signed a deal to reclaim the competitive food goats in Brooklyn on the Fourth of July.

However, chestnuts are joined by people due to the ethical treatment of animals (PETA).

In a press release sent to Fox News Digital, PETA said, “Tommy Tofu and his PETA buddies will be there right away at Nathan’s famous hot dog meal contest.

“Vegan hot dogs are delicious and kind, and those who really want to support the slaughterhouse – the words are enough – by buying what comes out of them.” “PETA encourages everyone to leave animals in peace after July 4th to ring free.”

Nathan’s Hot Dog Meal Contest: Joey Chestnut returns to Coney Island as a favorite

Chestnut has actually dealt with protesters during previous competitions. In the middle of the 2022 event, protesters sprinted around the stage, carrying signs that read “Smithfield Death Star will be revealed.” Smithfield is a major food processing company outside of Smithfield, Virginia, specializing in pork products. Nathan’s famous is the whole bean Frank.

With the cast on the legs from the ruptured tendon, Chestnut put the protesters in the headlock and dropped them to the ground. He still managed to beat 63 dogs and win the event with convincing power, but he insisted it. I paid him five winners.

Last year, PETA planned “Attacking the crowds of competition” I brought a truck to encourage fans to go vegan.

Chestnut is clearly a dominant favourite at Friday’s event, winning 16 of the past 17 contests he has competed in, and losing to Matt Stonie in 2015. His record is 76 dogs and bread.
