Watkins asked Mahomes about her thoughts on trans athletes who compete with girls in terms of fairness.
“Personally, I’m a woman and a girl, I’ve been working on a coed team throughout my life and just enjoying sports, there’s a huge difference between men and women,” she told Watkins. “There’s a big difference, and as a woman, I just think it’s not a fair matchup. Transgender, I’m fine, I understand, I love everyone.
