Skype is no longer available as Microsoft discontinued its once popular video calling service on Monday.
Shutting down Skype will help the software giant focus on its homemade team services by simplifying its communications delivery. It was announced in February.
To facilitate migration from the platform, the user can use their existing credentials to log in to the free version of the team when chats and contacts migrate automatically.
“Skype is an integral part of shaping modern communication and supporting countless meaningful moments, and we are honored to have been part of our journey,” said Jeff Tepper, Microsoft president of Co-Apps and Platforms.
