Olympic dressage rider Heathlyan The suspension by Equestrian Australia on Thursday was reportedly sharing the video online.
The sports governing body announced the suspension in a long post, adding that it follows both online and formal complaints of the video revelation.

“Equestrian Australia has imposed a provisional suspension of this person’s Australian membership and a provisional suspension of rights, privileges and interests associated with the membership, meaning that they will not participate in a competition or event as a competitor or official or an event under the jurisdiction of an Australian horse.”
Ryan, who represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, posted a lengthy message on social media claiming the video was two years old and was shared with “unfortunate former employee.” Reports show that Ryan whipped the horse 42 times.

He claimed that after the incident with horse, the person was hospitalized, the horse Nico was brought to him by a family friend. Ryan claimed he saved the horse from euthanasia.
“If it’s beautiful, if it’s beautiful [6-year-old] The horse appeared at your facility, it was raised by your stallion, and it belonged to your lifelong friend who was intensive care and put in hospital by this horse. You should send it to Kotree?? Well, I didn’t, and felt that I had an obligation to look at the horse and see if it could be rescued,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

Equestrian Australia said “There’s a problem” Animal Welfare Very seriously” And that Ryan’s suspension remains until an investigation by Australian equestrian forces awaits.
