Biles’ post came days after the 2017 World Arts Gymnastics Championships ended in Canada. Biles did not participate, but American women Morgan Heard and Jade Carrey both won medals. Hard won gold in individual all-arounds. China’s Xio Ruoteng won gold in full by male individuals.
Gains hosting “Gaines for Girls” The podcast on Outkick fired her own response.
“Ah, when your past self completely undermines your current meaningless argument, don’t you hate it?” Gaines writes to X: “How did Simone in 2025 reconcile with the fact that Simone in 2017 was “really sick bully” by her own standards? ”

It began on Friday as it fired an X post aimed at Gaines amid a fuss over the dominance of trans athletes in Minnesota High School softball.
“@riley_gaines_You’re really sick. It’s all about this campaign because you lost the race,” writes Biles. “Straight losers. We should either find ways to lift the trance community and make sports inclusive, or we should find ways to create a new pathway where trance feels safe in sports.
“But instead… you bully them… one thing is certainly not that no one in the sport is safe with you!!!!!”
