Trick Williams made history on Sunday night NXT Battleground When he defeated Joe Hendry at the TNA World Championships in the final match of the Premium Live event.
Williams has been targeting Hendry for the last few weeks as the latter superstar ran high. Hendry won the TNA World Championship with Nic Nemeth at the TNA Genesis. He has since appeared on WWE TV. Randy Orton 41 of WrestleMania.

Hendry was the only champion who failed to defend his title on the card.

Sol Luka defeated Kerani Jordan to maintain the Women’s North American Championship. Stephanie Vaquer has broken through Jordynne Grace to maintain the NXT Women’s Championship. Oba Femi defended the NXT Championship against Myles Borne.
