Nvidia Founder and CEO Jensen Huang joins Morning with Maria to discuss the surge in global demand for AI, U.S. chip production, and America’s race to lead the next industrial revolution.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence is causing “the largest infrastructure build-out in human history,” as companies and governments pour trillions of dollars into the computing power needed to run AI systems in real time.
talk to FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Huang said the ramp-up would cover data centers, chip factories and so-called “AI factories,” adding that the transition was still in its early stages.
“We’re seeing incredible demand. And what’s happening around the world is, you know, AI is a layer cake. It starts with energy, then chips, so the layer we’re in is infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, shore power… building data centers,” Huang said Wednesday.
“president [Donald] President Trump wants to reindustrialize the United States. And AI is the perfect time to do just that,” he added. “What’s really important to realize is that this is the biggest infrastructure development in human history. It’s just incredible. It’s a great time for the United States to jump on this because we can bring jobs home: laborers, plumbers, electricians, network technicians, construction workers, designers, architects. That’s going to create a lot of jobs.”

“If you think about the world’s ecosystems, [of] industry, $100 trillion of that, maybe $20 trillion or trillions of dollars in R&D or [operating expenses] spend. A lot of that will be powered by artificial intelligence,” Huang said.
“Over the next 15 years, most estimates say it will be $85 trillion,” he noted. “So we’re going to build a lot of infrastructure.”
Despite trillions of dollars being spent on expanding AI, Nvidia’s CEO said the new H200 chips are more efficient and affordable.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang joins Morning with Maria to discuss the surge in demand for AI, dispel bubble concerns, and outline what he calls the greatest infrastructure development in human history.
“Each year, we increase energy efficiency and lower token costs so that AI continues to be affordable, smarter, and more affordable for everyone,” Huang said.
Recently, the Trump administration Nvidia export officially allowedThis will allow the tech giant to ship artificial intelligence chips to China and other countries. Huang dismissed concerns about trade with China, saying the Chinese military is not dependent on U.S. hardware.

“H200 [chips are] Their army, like ours, [their] They have their own chips and they’re building a lot of great chips. Huawei and a number of startups have all gone public this year, and AI chip development now has a market value in the hundreds of billions of dollars. So they have a lot of AI chips for themselves,” he said.

“President Trump wants us to win in the marketplace, compete around the world, bring jobs to our country, generate revenue for America, and continue to lead in technology around the world. We cannot concede any market,” Huang said.
