Novak Jjokovic is French open.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion was hoping to extend his record at Roland Garros this weekend with a trip to the Men’s Singles Finals, but he lost to Janik Thinner on a straight set on Friday.

Djokovic, 38, looked emotional as he gathered his bags. He kissed his hands and touched the clay surface of Philip Chatelier in the court. He then spoke about the match and signaled that it might have been his last at the French Open.

“I mean, this might have been the last game I’ve played here, so I don’t know, so even in the end I was a little more emotional,” he said.
“But if this was a Roland Garros farewell match for me in my career, it was great in terms of vibes and what I got from the crowd.”

Of the “Big 3”, only Djokovic is active and dominant.
“Want to play more? Yes, I will. But can I play here in 12 months? I don’t know,” he added. “I said that might have been my last match (here). I didn’t say it was.”
Djokovic said he was going to compete. At Wimbledon. Last year, Serbian tennis pros failed to win a grand slam for the first time in seven years. His final victory took place at the US Open in 2023. His final victory at Wimbledon was in 2022.

“It feels like you want to play Wimbledon. You want us to open up. These two are certainly true. The rest, I’m not sure,” he said.
